Donors

You can search for a duel by entering any of the following:

  • Duel Title
  • Promoter Name
  • Charity Name
  • Candidate Name
  • Political Party
  • Duel Keywords

    • Once you have located the duel, click the "Donate" button for the person or charity you wish to support and you will be redirected to PayPal ® to complete your payment. After you submit your payment, make sure you hit "return to donorduel", so that the "Amount Raised" will update. If not, we reconcile all payments and update the numbers nightly.


    Donors

    Charities


    Let's face it, traditional fund raising is boring and your donor pool is probably worn out. DonorDuel makes it exciting again by turning your fund raising into a competition. Instead of sending out the stale "we need more donations" email, you can get your base excited to donate by dueling another charity to see who can raise more.

    If you are 501(c)(3) charity, you can duel on our platform. Simply complete this form and we will get your duel set up.

    Then all you have to do is get the word out through email or social media or by using the share feature on your duel page. At the completion of your duel, you will receive a proceeds check along with donor list to add to your roll.


    Candidates


    Compete with your opponent even before heading to ballot box. With DonorDuel, you get to see which side has more small donor support which is good indicator of who has the stronger base.

    We keep it simple for you, we do all the "heavy lifting" by setting up your duel, keeping records of your donors, and abiding by FEC guidelines.

    All you have to do is direct your base to the duel through social media or email.

    Proceed checks are sent out every week along with the list of donors to help keep your records straight.


    Promoters


    Promoters have a chance to win some cool prizes or gift cards for organizing and promoting a duel.
    Getting started is easy :

    ➜ Find a charity your are passionate about.
    ➜ Submit the "Create a Duel" form.
    ➜ Promote it on your social media.

    Once the duel is completed, the organizer who generated the most money is the winner and the incentives will be sent to the promoters.

    DonorDuel Fees


    There is no cost to set up a duel. Fees are only deducted when funds are raised. Paypal charges a standard processing fee of 2.9% + a 30¢ transaction fee.
    Donorduel charges a platform fee of 3%. That means over 94¢ out of every dollar donated goes directly to the charity. All fees are deducted prior to the payout.

    • Duel Set-up & Maintenance
    • Reporting
    • Payout Processing
    • Promoter Incentives
